Where are you based?

We are based in Scarborough with our office located in Markham. We are licensed to sell insurance and provide Financial Planning services in the province of Ontario through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRAO).

DO YOU WORK FOR ANY ONE SPECIFIC INSURANCE COMPANY?

No, Albert is an independent financial advisor who works with a Managing General Agency (MGA), Qualified Financial Services (QFS). Through QFS, we represent and are contracted to work with major Canadian insurance companies and financial institutions.

How do you get paid?

We don’t charge for our services. Consultations are done completely free of charge and all compensation and commissions come directly from the institutions that we work and are contracted to work with. Additionally, we may occasionally receive referral fees from institutions or advisors, should those outside services may be required; in the form of credits, benefits, etc.

HOW DO YOU GET NEW CLIENTS?

Our clients come to us through referrals from various sources: our MGA; current clients;

WHY SHOULD I WORK WITH YOU AND NOT DO THINGS ON MY OWN, OR THROUGH A BANK?

You’re more than welcome to choose to DIY your finances, as we know we won’t be a fit for everyone. We at Fate Financial believe in helping our clients through a holistic approach. Things change over the years, and we understand that your financial strategies need to grow and be revised to suit your personal needs. Financial strategies are not one-size-fits-all, after all.
