We are based in Toronto with our Head Office located in Markham, Ontario
No, Albert is an independent financial advisor who works with a Managing General Agency (MGA), Qualified Financial Services (QFS). Through QFS, we represent and are contracted to work with major Canadian insurance companies and financial institutions.
We don’t charge for our services. Consultations are done completely free of charge and all compensation and commissions come directly from the institutions that we work and are contracted to work with.
Additionally, we may occasionally receive referral fees from institutions or advisors, should those outside services may be required; in the form of credits, benefits, etc.
Our clients come to us through referrals from various sources such as our MGA and current clients.
If you were referred to our office by QFS, our MGA, one of the following situations might have happened:
- Your former advisor left the industry, and as such, you no longer have an actively licensed representative.
- Your former advisor moved to a different agency, and your file with them wasn’t transferred over in the move.
Whatever the case may be, we don’t know what happened, and your case was either sent to us because:
- You made a phone call and spoke with a member of the QFS team, and asked to speak to an advisor or
- Your policy (s) are at risk, and your insurance carrier has asked for someone to speak to the owner of the account to address their potential concern(s).
An advisor on our team will be happy to provide you with a FREE CONSULTATION. Still, please keep in mind that we do not work directly for the carrier, nor are we automatically assigned to be your representative on record.
Suppose you choose to work with our team. In that case, you will need to complete the necessary change of representative forms before we can access or make any changes to any personal or policy information for your file.
Taking over your file would mean assuming responsibility for your accounts, and, depending on the carrier, there may be a cost for our team to manage the account. Should that be the case, we reserve the right to decide whether or not to proceed with the process.
You’re more than welcome to choose to DIY your finances, as we know we won’t be a fit for everyone.
